Week 2

Wherever I Go, There You Are

John Hansen | Lead Pastor - 4/19/2026

Have you ever felt like you're navigating the deep, unknown waters of life, wondering if anyone truly sees or understands what you're going through? Just like scientists keep discovering incredible creatures in the ocean's depths—like the adorable Banded Piglet Squid—God is constantly present in every corner of your existence, even the places you think are too dark or too deep for Him to reach. Discover the life-changing truth from Psalm 139:7-12 that everywhere you go, God is there, and He's got you. Whether you're soaring on the wings of dawn or making your bed in the depths, His hand will guide you and hold you fast. Watch now and be reminded that no place is too far, no darkness too deep, and no situation too overwhelming for God's loving presence. --- At Centerpoint Church, we believe that true fulfillment comes from a life-changing connection with Christ. Whether you're searching for purpose, feeling stuck, or simply curious about faith, this message is for you. 🔗 CONNECT WITH US Website: https://mycenterpoint.tv Instagram: https://instagram.com/mycenterpoint Facebook: https://facebook.com/mycenterpoint 📍 Centerpoint Church Murrieta 24470 Washington Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 Sundays: 9AM, 11AM, 5PM #CenterpointChurch #Murrieta #Sermon #Faith #Church #Jesus

Take It In

What does this reveal about who God is?

I. Read Psalm 139:7–12

  1. As you read this section, what stands out to you about how God’s presence is described?
  2. David names both the highest places and the lowest places, even places of darkness. Which part of that range feels most personal or significant to you right now?
  3. Re-read verses 9–10. What does this reveal about how God responds to where you are, not just where you think you should be?

Talk About It

How do we practically apply this?

  1. Do you tend to think of God’s presence as something you have to chase, or something that is already with you? Why?
  2. Where in your life right now do you feel most aware of God’s presence? Where do you feel least aware?
  3. Re-read verse 8. Have you ever found yourself in a place that felt “low” or even self-made? What did it look like to experience God there (or struggle to)?
  4. We often live like certain spaces are more “spiritual” than others. Where do you naturally feel more aware of God, and where do you tend to leave Him out?

Take It Home

What are we doing this week?

  1. This week, pay attention to your daily rhythm (driving, working, being at home). Where can you become more aware that God is already there with you?
  2. Practice a simple pause once a day: Stop and say, “God, You’re here, and You’ve got me.” When and where will you do that?
