We have two days of opportunities to volunteer.

PACKING DAY -FRIDAY (November 20, 2026): Help pack the dinners into boxes to be distributed.  AGES 10+ ONLY

DISTRIBUTION DAY - SATURDAY (November 21, 2026): Help hand out dinners in a drive-thru style distribution. AGES 15+ ONLY

Drive-Thru Team

Drive-Thru Team

The Drive-Thru Team is the heart of the distribution day, helping ensure every family receives their meal with care and efficiency. Volunteers will check that each vehicle has its tag, load boxed meals into cars, and add turkeys and pies to the boxes. This role requires light to moderate lifting and is perfect for volunteers who enjoy hands-on service and teamwork.

Runners Team

Runners Team

The Runners Team is a small but mighty group of volunteers who deliver boxes to the drive-through tables. Volunteers will load boxes (10–20 lbs) onto dollies, restock the drive-through area, and keep the flow moving smoothly. This role involves light lifting and walking about 20 feet through the line of cars.

Line Safety Team

Line Safety Team

The Line Safety Team helps manage traffic flow and ensure a safe, organized experience for everyone participating in the drive-through distribution. Volunteers will direct cars through the line, ensure driveways remain clear, and help maintain steady movement. They will also guide any new arrivals or walk-ups to the intake area. This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and helping keep things running smoothly.

Intake Team

Intake Team

The Intake Team is the first part of the drive-through experience. Volunteers on this team will greet recipients, collect their information, tag their vehicles, and direct them to join the line for meal pickup. This role sets the tone for a warm, organized, and welcoming experience.

Packing Team (Friday)

Packing Team (Friday)

The Packing Team helps prepare boxes on Friday for Saturday’s food distribution. Volunteers will build boxes, sort vegetables, and organize items to ensure a smooth and efficient drive-through experience the following day. This outreach involves being on your feet and may include light lifting and bending.
